Potential ID Theft Scam Reported In Forest

Police in Forest are investigating a possible scam. A post on the department’s Facebook page says a man recently approached a resident and claimed to be an insurance broker with the Ohio Benefits Program. However, investigators haven’t been able to confirm any information provided by the man. They believe he is part of an identity theft ring.

The man provided a business card that identified him as Stephen White. He is white, skinny, and in his early 30s. He was between 5′ 5″ and 5′ 10″ tall.
