Lightning Strike Causes Findlay Power Outage

6/27/17 – 5:30 A.M.

A lightning strike caused a large power outage in Findlay Monday night. American Electric Power says the outage started around 7 p.m. and lasted just past midnight. The outage effected more than 1,600 customers. It centered around the Tall Timbers Industrial Park and near the intersection of Tiffin Avenue and Bright Road.
