Firefighters Battle Blaze In Western Putnam County

A wood-burning stove may have caused a fire in western Putnam County over the weekend. The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office reports the incident happened in a shed in the 19000 block of Jennings Township Road 21 around 3 a.m. Sunday. Four fire departments helped put out the blaze.

The building contained tools and a couple of vehicles. The fire did not cause any injuries.
