Evacuation Order For Highland Estates Lifted

Findlay let residents of the Highland Estates mobile home park back into their homes late Sunday night. The city ordered the evacuation early in the evening after damage from severe weather caused several gas leaks in the mobile home park near Melrose and Crystal avenues.

The Red Cross opened a shelter at 50 North on East Melrose after the city issued the evacuation order. The shelter provided cots, food, and shelter to those effected by the storm.
