Seneca County Performing Maintenance On Outdoor Warning Sirens

Seneca County resident might hear brief warning sirens at random times over the next few weeks. The Review-Times reports crews will perform maintenance on the sirens, which could cause them to go off. These are known as “siren burps.”

Seneca County Emergency Management administrator Dan Stahl says this is normal and there’s no need to worry.
