GREEN DAY TO PERFORM AT NFL HONORS THIS WEEKEND

Green Day will kick off the 10th annual NFL Honors on Saturday night (Feb. 6th) with performance set to air on CBS beginning at 9 p.m. ET. The Honors is the annual awards show recognizing the best players, performances and plays from the season.

Green Day, like all other performers, haven’t played a live show in several months. Their 2020 Hella Mega summer tour with Fall Out Boy and Weezer was postponed due to the pandemic. They currently plan to perform the European dates on the tour this summer beginning in June.

The Honors event leads up to Sunday’s (Feb. 7th) Super Bowl game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
