Woman Injured In Rollover Crash In Putnam County

A person was trapped in their car after being involved in a rollover crash in Putnam County.

The crash happened at about 2:30 Sunday afternoon at the intersection of State Route 189 and Road 21 in Jennings Township.

The sheriff’s office says Colin R. Sickels, 25, was driving south on Road 21 when he failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection and collided with a vehicle traveling east on State Route 189 being driven by Ronnette E. St. Pierre, 49.

The impact caused Ronnette’s car to roll and she was trapped in the wreckage.

Ronnette was extracted from the car by the Fort Jennings Fire Department and taken to St. Rita’s Medical Center.

Sickels refused treatment at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office.
